DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Delivery

All artworks purchased through our webshop on the Website will be sent to the purchaser’s nominated address via Hungarian mail (recorded delivery) with the relevant level of insurance and proof of purchase. For large or heavy items or parcels we may prefer to use FEDEX and in these cases we will contact you beforehand to arrange a suitable delivery date.

We aim to dispatch your parcel within 5 working days of your confirmed payment and should, subject to the vagaries of international post, be delivered within 14 working days of dispatch. In some cases where items are made to order, delivery may take longer than usual. Please bear in mind most items are handmade one-offs or from small editions so we may sell out of certain items at particularly busy periods. In this case we will advise you of a revised delivery date. Please note that shipment beyond Hungary may trigger to import duties and tax at the receiving end – these additional charges must be paid by you as the customer noting that neither Brody ArtYard nor The Brody House Group has any purview or control over these charges and bears no responsibility for what may be levied on the importation thereof. In other words, governments are not accountable to us and we are certainly not accountable for their tax policies!

Return Policy

It happens – the whim, the impulse and then you change your mind. Of course that’s disappointing but we understand and ask that you check carefully the conditions on which you can return an artwork you purchased from us via our Website. Returns can only be made within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase order. If you wish to make a return you must inform us in writing by email (sales@brodyartyard.com) within 14 days of making your order. When making a return you must send the item using recorded delivery to our group office (Brody House Group, Vörösmarty utca 38, 1064 Budapest, Hungary) and with appropriate insurance as we will not be held responsible for items missing or damaged and ensure the same tube is used to return the item. When notifying us of your intended return you may opt to exchange your selected artwork for another (for the same price) or we will refund your payment minus postage paid by us. We aim to reimburse you within 14 business days of your written request for a refund. Unfortunately and, as you will probably understand, bespoke items made to order are not subject to returns. For example, artwork printed to order will be non-returnable. Due to monitor settings colours may vary slightly from the colours you see on your screen. However, if large variations occur we will advise before shipment. If you wish to exchange your print an additional postage cost must be paid before we can resend. We don’t cover postage on exchanges.
